Narvata is now available in more languages. If your phone is set to Spanish, German, or French, the app will speak it. And if you run your business in English, you will now see spelling and wording that matches where you are.
The languages
Narvata is translated into:
- English
- Spanish
- German
- French
There is nothing to download and no setting to hunt for. Narvata follows your device language. Set your phone, iPad, or Mac to one of these languages, and the app will be in it the next time you open it.
English, the way you write it
English is not one thing. A price in London, Sydney, and Mumbai is written and spoken a little differently, and small mismatches add up to an app that feels like it was built for someone else.
So alongside standard English, Narvata now includes regional English for:
- Australia
- The United Kingdom
- India
You will see local spelling and vocabulary rather than a single one-size translation. It is a small thing, but it is the kind of small thing that makes the app feel like it was made for you.
Why this matters to us
Our customers do not all run their businesses in the same language, and they never have. Asking someone to work in their second or third language all day, every day, is a tax on their time and attention. A sales app should get out of the way, not add to the load.
Translating the whole app is how we get out of the way for more people. We would rather you spend your energy on the sale in front of you than on decoding a menu.
What is translated
The whole app. Every screen, button, label, and message you tap through in a normal day is translated, on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
A few things stay exactly as you entered them, by design: your own product names, customer names, notes, and categories. Those are your words, and Narvata leaves them alone.
